The STIHL MSA 80 C-B battery chainsaw is equipped with a 30 cm bar, featuring the 1/4" P Picco Micro 3 (PM3) saw chain and the STIHL Light 01 guide bar, ensuring clean and smooth cuts every time. Its lightweight design, paired with a powerful, energy-efficient EC motor, delivers the perfect balance of power and manoeuvrability.
A control lever with a potentiometer function allows for precise speed adjustments, giving you full control over your cutting tasks. The rubberised soft-grip handle enhances comfort and ergonomics, ensuring a secure and comfortable hold during extended use. For effortless chain maintenance, the STIHL quick chain adjuster lets you adjust tension without tools. Safety is a top priority with the QuickStop Super chain brake, which halts the chain instantly when the rear handle is released. Plus, the transparent oil tank lets you easily monitor the oil level for continuous operation.
STIHL recommends pairing the MSA 80 C-B with the AK 30 battery and AL 101 charger.

Control lever with potentiometer and derating function
Offers you two advantages - first this function protects your chainsaw against possible overheating by reducing the current and it notifies you by means of a reduction in power if you only have very little battery power remaining - allows you to finish cuts that have already started without the engine switching off.
Rubber soft handle
Your work tool sits comfortably in the hand and can be guided safely - the soft grip handle also improves your grip, and the ergonomic lever makes work easier, as there is no need to unlock the machine as long as one hand continuously remains on the rear handle.
STIHL electric motor (EC)
Thanks to its compact design, low weight and high efficiency, the EC engine enables you to work in an energy efficient manner. This engine also has a long service life.
Power levels
The power tool is compatible with the Smart Connector, meaning it can be integrated into the STIHL connected system. Once you have attached a Smart Connector to the power tool, after one-time commissioning it will record the power tool’s operating hours and transmit them to the STIHL connected App via Bluetooth.
