Lightweight battery-powered lawn mower with eco mode
The advantages of the STIHL RMA 235 are clear to see: It's light weight and easy to handle. Very small gardens are easy to tend with this 14kg lightweight battery lawn mower. The necessary energy is provided by the STIHL AK battery system using high-quality lithium-ion batteries.
The motor unit is also equipped with an always-on ECO mode, which together with the flow-optimised blade ensures maximum efficiency when mowing. Using the central cutting height adjustment you can choose from five height settings, with an easy to see scale showing the current setting.
The 30L fold-able grass catcher box has also been designed for ease of handling. Simply release and empty in just a few simple steps. Between uses, this lightweight battery-powered lawn mower is easy to transport and folds away neatly, making it the perfect addition to any garden shed.
Foldable grass catcher box
The innovative grass catcher box is made of plastic and features a folding mechanism that makes it particularly easy to open and empty. The current of air produced during mowing blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures its optimum filling. Special vanes in the box channel the air towards the ground, and so protect the user and lawn mower alike from dust and dirt that has been thrown up. The level indicator signals the correct time for emptying. The airflow generated by the blade raises the level indicator. When the basket is full, the airflow stops. If the airflow is too low, the level indicator returns to its idle state and this is an indication to empty the catcher box. Optimal airflow is required in order for the level indicator to function fully. External influences such as wet, dense or tall grass, a low cutting height, contamination, etc. may affect the airflow and the performance of the level indicator.

Eco mode
When eco mode is activated, the speed of the lawn mower motor is automatically adapted to the actually required power - the lawn mower consumes less energy greater mowing area between charges.
