The STIHL FSA 80 R is a battery-powered brushcutter designed for tackling the toughest mowing, cutting and clearing jobs in the garden. The FSA 80 R is battery powered and as such has low noise emissions – so you don’t have to worry about disturbing any neighbours either!
The FSA 80 R is equipped with an adjustable loop handle featuring a quick-mount system, allowing you to tailor the handle height for optimal comfort during use. The loop design enhances manoeuvrability, simplifying mowing on slopes, around obstacles, and on uneven ground. It boasts a high-efficiency brushless EC motor and a dual-speed control handle. Select ECO mode (level 1) for light tasks like edging, conserving battery life, or switch to full speed (level 2) to tackle denser grass, consuming more power.
The FSA 80 R is supplied with a basic harness and the AutoCut 27-2 as standard, but can also be fitted with other STIHL cutting tools, such as the TrimCut C 32-2, DuroCut 20-2, PolyCut 18-2 and Grass Blade cutting tools.

Ergonomic control handle
The FSA 80 R has a locking lever (orange front), ERGO lever (black) and main trigger lever (orange below) - the locking lever is self-resetting and prevents unintentional switching on of the device - when the ERGO lever and shift lever are pressed, you can work continuously with ease.
Speed regulation
The speed of the mowing head can be regulated continuously during use at two different speed levels.
Loop handle
The comfortable all-round handle ensures great freedom of movement and easy handling, even in more confined spaces.
AutoCut mowing head
The FSA 80 R comes with the STIHL Autocut C 27-2 mowing head which can be tapped on the ground during use to automatically feed out the nylon line.
